Common use

The Duralast tablet treats premature ejaculation (PE), a common sexual disorder affecting many men worldwide. Premature ejaculation is the inability to control or delay ejaculation during sexual intercourse, causing distress and anxiety. This condition affects approximately 1 in 3 men and can lead to problems in relationships and affect self-esteem.

Dosage and direction

To ensure the best results, taking the Duralast tablet is recommended according to the dosage and duration prescribed by your doctor. The tablet should be swallowed whole, not chewed, crushed, or broken. You can take the Duralast with or without food, but it is advisable to take it at a fixed daily time. Typically, it is taken 1 to 3 hours before sexual activity is expected and should not be taken more than once within 24 hours.

Precautions

Consult with your doctor before using Duralast tablet if you have: Cardiovascular/heart disease; A history of dizziness due to low blood pressure; Depression; Mania; Bipolar disorder; Schizophrenia; Epilepsy/fits; Bleeding or blood clotting problems; Glaucoma; Kidney problems; Moderate to severe liver problems.
It is advisable to avoid consuming alcohol while taking the Duralast tablet as it may increase the risk of side effects such as dizziness and headache.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Dapoxetine, patients having heart conditions, bleeding or clotting disorder, epilepsy, mental health problems like bipolar disorder, depression, or mania; glaucoma, liver diseases, and tendency to faint.

Possible side effect

Typical Duralast tablet side effects include: Dizziness; Headache; Nausea; Diarrhea; Dry mouth; Indigestion.

Drug interaction

Duralast may interact with the following drugs: Thioridazine, Lithium, Tramadol, Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Linezolid, Clarithromycin, Telithromycin, Erythromycin, Tryptophan, Ritonavir, Saquinavir, Nelfinavir, Atazanavir, Amprenavir, Fosamprenavir, Ketoconazole, Itraconazole, Fluconazole, Nefazodone, Warfarin, Sildenafil, Tadalafil, Vardenafil, Diltiazem, Veramapil, Aprepitant.

Missed dose

If you miss a dose of the Duralast tablet, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Avoid taking a double dose to make up for the missed one.

Overdose

Exceeding the recommended dose may lead to dizziness, headache, nausea, dry mouth, and indigestion. If you suspect an overdose, it is crucial to seek immediate medical attention to prevent any potential harm.

Storage

The Duralast tablet should be stored at room temperature (below 30°C), away from direct heat and sunlight. It should be kept dry and away from moisture or dampness. It is recommended to store the medicine to keep it out of reach of children and pets.
